Try Sailing this Saturday

If you have always wanted to come sailing but never gotten around to it here is your chance.

This Saturday the Army Sailing Club is doing a try sailing morning in the Army yacht Gun Runner. We will start at 9 am with training on the wharf then do an introductory sail around the beautiful Sydney harbour. We will be back and all finished by no later than 1.00 pm. This is a no pressure introductory day aimed at those who have never been sailing, those who want to get back into it or those who want to check out the Army Sailing Club and our yacht Gun Runner.

Where – meet at RAN Sailing Association, New Beach Road, Rushcutters Bay (Darling Point).

Limited on road parking. Nearest train station is Edgecliff a 10 minute walk away.

What to bring / wear. Dress for the weather. Weather says max 24 but showers. Say a T shirt, shorts, rain jacket, sun screen, adventure sandals or joggers, hat, sunnies, tied on if you can. A drink in a day pack if you like. We have all the safety gear you need.

Cost $20 cash on the day.
